App data

Quiet Phone is designed so your personal setup stays on your iPhone. There is no account: your Quiet Pages, app slots, groups, wallpapers, themes, onboarding progress, and purchase state all live on your device.

If you allow photo access, it is only used to save your wallpapers to your photo library and to check the app's own wallpaper album for duplicates. Quiet Phone never reads your other photos and never uploads any photo anywhere.

The Lifetime Unlock purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Analytics

We use PostHog for limited analytics, such as website pageviews, CTA clicks, waitlist conversion, setup progress, widget setup, and purchase conversion. App analytics are coarse usage patterns for improving features. We do not collect app names, intention text, mental health notes, contacts, screen contents, device content, or exact destination URLs. Session recording and broad autocapture are off.

PostHog processes this data on our behalf on servers in the United States. App analytics are anonymous: they carry a random identifier that is not linked to you and resets if you reinstall, so we could not connect them back to you even if asked. Because of that, there is no per-person analytics data to hand over or delete.

Waitlist and email

If you join the waitlist, we store the email you submit so we can send early access and launch updates. Your email may also be attached to your PostHog waitlist profile so we can send relevant Quiet Phone communications from there. We do not send raw email as an analytics event property.

You can ask us to delete your waitlist email or PostHog waitlist profile by emailing hi@lucasfaria.dev.
